About Us
Strategic Action for Forward & Equitable Research (SAFER) Alliance
Our mission is to support and promote the sustainability of independent and minority-owned research sites while transforming clinical trials through experience, education, advocacy, and a commitment to diversity and equity.
We collaborate with pharmaceutical companies, biotech, academic institutions, and contract research organizations to engage sites and participants in under-resourced and marginalized communities, emphasizing the importance of diverse and inclusive medical research. Leveraging experience and shared infrastructure, SAFER Alliance streamlines site management, reduces disparities, and advances equity in research.
Rooted in integrity, collaboration, and respect, SAFER empowers diverse, independent research sites to thrive. We provide critical back-end support, infrastructure, training, and expedited patient recruitment—ensuring success for both sites and sponsors, and ultimately better treatments for all populations.
